edit/adds: [ Nov 2, 2007] Been bogged down by idiot comments. I know I shouldn't let it get to me, but you'd think commonsense would dictate the word "Commission" constitutes payment and "Gift-Art" is -gasp- a GIFT and somehow therefore free.

So, when a piece of work is obviously NOTED as a "Commission" it means my only concern is whether my client is happy with it. NOT whether the character is "teh sex" or your "favoritist ever!" or worse yet "not how I'd imagined/would have done it".

A commission is a job like any other and not some homage to hormones for fan service. So if anyone is curious about the delay the last three City of Bones commissions, that's why. Not terribly professional but it's the truth.

Now, if fans, as they claimed to be, wanted 1) those deviation to move from scraps to main gallery and 2) prints made available (as per my agreement with the author) then it'd be terribly smart to play nice and zip their lips so I can do my job. But of course they rarely ever read notes... or comments...or even titles for that matter. *-sigh-*

I should probably just start deleting them or, better yet, turn off comments because it just sets me in a bad headspace first thing in the AM.
